The Test Center is located in the international campus of BLCU, which can be called “Mini United Nations”. Established in 1982, the Center administers foreign language proficiency tests, including WSK, IELTS, TOEFL, TSE, PETS5, JPT, or DELF/DALF. It is one of the first standardized examination centers in China.

　　As such, it attracts the largest amount of test takers for IELTS and ACCA in Beijing in cooperation with the British Education Association. Since 2013, the center jointly offers DELF/DALF tests together with the National Education Examinations Authority (NEEA) and the Alliance fran?aise in China. Over the years, the center has administered more than ten kinds of tests 80 times on a yearly basis to over forty thousand examinees. The center is also authorized by the China Scholarship Council to organize English speaking tests in north China for those going to study abroad. HSK exams are also held here by Hanban. In addition, it also hosts foreign language proficiency test entrusted by state organizations, enterprises and institutions.

　　The center’s infrastructure meets the requirements for national or international examinations. Typical examination rooms, rooms with audio equipment, and those with multimedia setup can respectively have up to 2500, 1500, and 1000 seats. There are not only seven full-time experienced staff members, but also part-time invigilators (including foreign teachers, graduate students and audio-visual staff).
