On the morning of May 1, a delegation led by Stéphane, Director of the International Relations Office at La Rochelle Université, France, Martine Hebert, Foreign Director of the Confucius Institute, and sinologist Bai Zhimin visited the Business School. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on matters related to international cooperative education. Professor Song Xiaoling, Dean of the Business School, attended the meeting, which was chaired by Professor Zhu Erqian, Vice Dean. The academic affairs manager of the school also participated in the meeting.
At the exchange meeting, Song Xiaoling first introduced the development history and educational characteristics of the Business School, elaborating on the school’s existing teaching facilities, student development, disciplinary achievements, and faculty structure. She emphasized that graduates of the Business School possess significant advantages in language application.
Subsequently, Zhu Erqian gave a detailed introduction to the teaching work at both the undergraduate and graduate levels of the Business School, listed existing cooperation models for international exchanges, and expressed her ardent expectations for deepening overseas exchange and cooperation with France.

Stefan highly praised the internationalized educational characteristics of the Business School, and then introduced the college setup, faculty strength, and teaching development of the La Rochelle Université in France. Bai Zhimin emphasized that La Rochelle Université in France and Beijing Language and Culture University have maintained a close and friendly cooperative relationship for a long time, and he hoped to expand more diverse and in-depth cooperation models in the field of business schools.

During the exchange, both parties had an in-depth exchange of views on specific topics such as optimizing talent training programs and mutual exchange of teachers and students, taking into account the learning needs of Chinese and French students for Chinese and French languages, as well as their eagerness to learn professional courses in business schools. They reached broad consensus on multiple areas of cooperation. Song Xiaoling highly appreciated the long-term support from the French side and looked forward to working together to create a new model of international education.
