BEIJING, Apr. 14, 2026 — The China-Vietnam Forum on Higher Education Cooperation and Scientific and Technological Innovation was held. To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, attended the forum and delivered a policy speech. Duan Peng, President of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), together with presidents of 34 other universities from China and Vietnam, was invited to the event.
On April 14, Duan Peng, President of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), attended the China-Vietnam Forum on Higher Education Cooperation and Scientific and Technological Innovation. He met with a delegation led by Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Vietnam’s Van Lang University. The two sides held in-depth discussions on joint talent training, faculty and student exchanges, academic research， and other topics, and signed a memorandum of academic cooperation. Through practical cooperation, the two universities will deepen China-Vietnam educational and people-to-people exchanges, and boost the collaborative development of higher education and the friendship between the young generations of the two countries.
