Recently, the Confucius Classroom at Ovidius University in Constanța, Romania, officially launched a Wing Chun course at the university gymnasium, offering local residents a firsthand opportunity to experience.

Taught by Mr. Cristian Oparius Dan (Deng Sitian), foreign coordinator of the Confucius Classroom, the course has been widely welcomed since its launch, attracting participants of all ages, including teenagers, university students, and members of the general public. The students practiced earnestly and enthusiastically, creating a lively learning atmosphere.
During the classes, Mr. Deng started with basic movements, integrating Wing Chun footwork and hand techniques, and explained the essentials step by step. Through demonstrations and interactive exercises, he helped students grasp the core techniques. Many participants noted that Wing Chun emphasizes not only techniques but also focus and rhythm, allowing them to experience a state of harmony between body and mind.
Mr. Deng has long been dedicated to the study and promotion of Chinese culture, with a particular interest in the research and practice of Chinese martial arts, especially Wing Chun. His professional demonstrations and instruction have earned high praise from the students. In an interview with the Confucius Classroom, he shared his experience with Chinese martial arts and his understanding of Wing Chun, expressing his hope to help more people in Romania understand the cultural depth of Chinese martial arts.
