The Regional and Country Studies Collaborative Innovation Center at Beijing Language and Culture University is a comprehensive academic platform for conducting regional and country studies. It was established in April 2024.

The center primarily focuses on research areas such as studies on Middle Eastern Arab countries, research on country-specific hot issues, overseas Sinology studies, and international communication research. It excels in providing advisory insights on the political and social landscapes of Middle Eastern Arab nations, maintaining close communication with royal families, political circles, business communities, and academic institutions in countries such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, and Yemen. The center has a solid research foundation in addressing internal issues of these relevant countries.

The center leverages the first-level doctoral degree programs in Foreign Languages and Literatures, and Area Studies, as well as the first-level master's degree programs in Journalism and Communication, Applied Economics, and Political Science. It adopts a development model for area studies that integrates disciplinary development with think tank construction, bringing together a large number of leading experts in the field. The center is committed to producing first-class research outcomes and policy recommendations, actively serving major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and contributing to the building of a community with a shared future for humanity.
