On March 19, 2026, the News Center of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) led six enterprises, including CETC International and China Logistics Group, to Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) for an exchange and research symposium. Duan Peng, President of BLCU, held in-depth discussions with Zhang Yihao, Deputy Director of the News Center of SASAC, and other enterprise leaders. The parties reached a consensus on cooperation in areas such as international talent cultivation, overseas development of enterprises, and international cultural communication, aiming to serve the national Belt and Road Initiative and corporate globalization strategies through university-enterprise collaboration.

At the symposium, President Duan Peng introduced the university's educational features and core strengths. He stated that BLCU has partnered with five engineering universities to create eight interdisciplinary programs combining humanities and engineering, forming the country's first interdisciplinary cluster of its kind. These programs integrate linguistic strengths with engineering disciplines such as petroleum engineering, artificial intelligence, and intelligent construction, precisely aligning with the talent needs of central SOEs operating overseas. BLCU possesses extensive overseas alumni networks, multiple international branch campuses, and overseas institutes for China studies, enabling it to provide linguistic talent support, cultural communication assistance, and overseas resource connections for central SOEs. In the future, the university is committed to deepening cooperation with enterprises in areas such as joint training of interdisciplinary talent, building international student practice bases, and establishing overseas cooperation platforms. Leveraging its strengths in regional and country-specific studies, BLCU will focus on helping central SOEs expand into overseas markets, fostering win-win cooperation through people-to-people bonds.
Deputy Director Zhang Yihao noted in his speech that he hopes the symposium will serve as an opportunity to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism between central SOEs and BLCU, fully utilizing BLCU's international resources and think tank capabilities to help central SOEs enhance their overseas communication capacity, deepen their global business presence, and achieve university-enterprise synergy in serving the nation's opening-up strategy.

Executive Deputy General Manager Zhou Xiongwei stated that CETC International has seen rapid growth in its overseas business in recent years and is eager to engage in in-depth cooperation with BLCU. By leveraging BLCU's overseas resources, the company hopes to expand into markets in Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, using talent cooperation and cultural exchange as a bridge to drive its global expansion.
Representatives from China Logistics Group, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, and other enterprises also spoke, expressing their willingness to cooperate with BLCU. They look forward to future collaboration in areas such as customized talent training, overseas cultural and creative cooperation, and overseas promotion of new energy, aiming to set a benchmark for university-enterprise cooperation in serving national strategies.
